2019 Optimist Oratorical Contest
The Middleton Optimist Club is again inviting area students under the age of 18 as of October 1, 2018, to participate in 2018 Middleton Optimist Oratorical Contest. Students are to prepare a speech of between four and five minutes in length on this year’s topic: “Is there a Fine Line Between Optimism and Reality?” Winners of our local contest will receive a medallion and $50 gift certificate, which can be used at Middleton-area businesses. Winners can progress to the district, regional, and World Championship contests and potentially win college scholarships.

Lake View Park Adoption Program
Pack 240 (Diane), Troop 940 (Jan), Kiwanis Club (Gurdip), and Optimist Club (Curt) that our semi-annual Lakeview Park clean-up is scheduled for Saturday morning, May 4, 2019, starting at 8 am.
The fall 2019 clean-up is scheduled for Saturday, October 5, 2019. Put on your work clothes and come on out for a good time.
