Lake View Park Adoption Program 
Pack 240 (Diane), Troop 940 (Jan), Kiwanis Club (Gurdip), and Optimist Club (Curt) that our semi-annual Lakeview Park clean-up is scheduled for May 2021


The fall 2021 clean-up is scheduled for a week in May 2021. Put on your work clothes and come on out for a good time.

Items you can bring:
Rakes
Shovel
Gloves


Donuts will be available for those who help.

2022 Optimist Oratorical Contest 
The Middleton Optimist Club is again inviting area students under the age of 19 as of October 1, 2022 (and is not enrolled as a degree-seeking student of a post-secondary institution) in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean. There is no minimum Middleton Optimist Oratorical Contest. Students are to prepare a speech of between four and five minutes in length on this year’s topic: "Healing the World with Optimism".   Winners of our local contest will receive a medallion, certificate, and $50 gift certificate, which can be used at Middleton-area businesses. Winners can progress to the district, regional, and World Championship contests and potentially win college scholarships.


The topic for the 2022 school year is:
"Healing the World with Optimism"

Copp & Bobbers (formally Kids Fishing Day)

Children and their parents can share "quality time" in a one-on-one activity they can do together and with the local Middleton Police department.  For 2021 the event will be on September 18th from     8 a.m. to Noon at Lakeview Park. Come out and enjoy this FREE event:  

  • FREE fishing rod, reel & bobber to the first 150 kids age 15 and under
  • FREE bait provided by ACE Hardware Middleton Springs
  •  FREE Bobbers from Monana Bank
  • FREE food provided by Chick-fil-A West Towne
  • Other food and beverages: Metcalfe’s, Culligan Total Water, Kwik Trip and Culvers!
  • Fun contests & prizes including BIG & Little fish contest & more
  • Please bring your own fishing gear if you have it.
  • Also participating REACH-A-Child, Middleton Public Library, “ and more
